IBM And Pradeo Expand Their Collaboration To Provide Mobile Application Security Testing To MaaS360 Customers

Few months after the launch of Pradeo Security Mobile Threat Defense for IBM MaaS360, Pradeo’s Mobile Application Security Testing technology also integrates the Unified Endpoint Management platform to smoothen the implementation of security across the entire mobile chain.

Beginning on November 22^nd, Pradeo Security Mobile Application Security Testing service will be available as a beta offering within IBM MaaS360.

“This collaboration is part of an advanced comprehensive SecOps approach to smoothen the implementation of security across the entire mobile chain.” said Steph Saad, Chief Strategy Officer at Pradeo.

IBM MaaS360 with Watson is a unified endpoint management (UEM) platform that organizations leverage to manage their mobile fleet (COPE, BYOD…) and enforce its security compliance. The distribution of mobile applications is a key capability delivered by IBM MaaS360, allowing organizations to provide their mobile workers with useful applications, thus enhancing their productivity.

In this expanded collaboration, IBM and Pradeo aim to ease the validation of the security level of applications prior to their distribution toward managed mobile devices. Pradeo and IBM MaaS360 common clients will be able to request security reports of any mobile application to be analyzed by the Pradeo Security intelligence and check its alignment with the company security policy.

Through this new integration, subscribers of IBM MaaS360, Pradeo Security Mobile Threat Defense and Mobile Application Security Testing will be able to seamlessly implement a thorough security across their mobile devices.
